Making up for borrowed time - today's photos that I've just posted were taken a couple of days ago, but as the website was down, I wasn't able to puplish them earlier! This photo was taken on Sunday in the woods - it was great fun! We loaded the pups into the car and took them to the nearby woods. They had an absolute ball! Adored exploring, and running into the undergrowth. It was a sort of newfound freedom that they hadn't experienced before - so great to see them them enjoying themselves, no...

Back on the air!! I hope all these photos make up for 5 days silence! Finally today I managed to get attention from Jimdo and they fixed the technical problem on the website - just in time! This is the last week of the pups, and, as you can see from the photos, they are ready to boogie big time!! They are bubbly, bouncy pups, full of life and energy, extremely playful, and live life in the fast lane whenever possible! Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Tute, who left for his new life with his...

This morning I came down to two pups who had escaped out the crib and were nonchalantly walking around the room as if they owned the place! Two girlies - Maxima and Helen! I used to be able to take Pops out for a quick walk without waking the pups, but now that's out of the question - they are ready to boogy, and breakfast should be served sooner rather than later! The pups go into the run whilst I'm preparing their food, and the noise they generate builds up to a crescendo, I can't get the...

So Saturday was a wet day , and a challenging one at that! How to keep 8 pups amused in the rain.... not an easy task, I can tell you, but we succeeded! Mealtimes were a little wet, and pups were extremely sogging and muddy. But they had a fun day, long live the carport! The pups received their first injections on Friday, for the new owners, the next ones are due week commencing 10th August. We weighed the pups at the same time, and believe it or not, they range from 3.8kilos to 3.2kilos, so...

Yesterday the pups were chipped - it's now official, their names are in tablets of stone. I must say it's done in a jiffy, one quick jab with a needle and job's done. Their DNA is also taken at the same time. Today the pups will receive their first injections, their 6 week cocktail, as it is called. So the pups are growing up fast, and are now registered as fully fledged flat coats.

Every day they learn something new, and it's not always what you want them to learn! Today they finally sussed out that they could climb the steps up to the house and follow me (and Poppy) if need be.....this is not handy, as pups are not supposed to climb stairs/steps, so I guess this means I will have to look into constructing a barracade tomorrow! Feeding times are also becoming more challenging as the pups have discovered that the nextdoor neighbours bowl is probably more tasty than their...
